January 2025 SASSA Payment Calendar
According to SASSA, the payment dates for January 2025 are:
- The Older Persons Grant (and linked grants) will be paid on 6 January 2025.
- The Disability Grant (and linked grants) will be paid on 7 January 2025 .
- All other grants will be paid on 8 January 2025.
If any date falls on a weekend, the funds will be paid on the preceding Friday, as usual.
February 2025 SASSA Payment Schedule
The scheduled payment dates for February 2025 are as follows:
- The Older Persons Grant (and linked grants) will be paid on 4 February 2025.
- The Disability Grant (and linked grants) will be paid on 5 February 2025 .
- All other grants will be paid on 6 February 2025.
Take note of any public holiday Mondays that might affect payment days.
March 2025 SASSA Payment Dates
As per SASSA, the payment dates for March 2025 are as follows:
- The Older Persons Grant (and any linked grants) will be paid on 3 March 2025 .
- The Disability Grant (and any linked grants) will be paid on 4 March 2025 .
- All other grants, including the Child Support Grant, Foster Child Grant, Care Dependency Grant, and War Veterans Grant, will be paid on 5 March 2025 (Thursday).
The recently introduced Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant will be disbursed between 22-29 September 2025. Recipients must check their status to obtain the exact date, with funds reflecting within 2-3 days after processing.

SASSA has announced the grant payment dates for April 2025 as follows:

- All other grants will be paid on 5 April 2025 .
May 2025 SASSA Payment Schedule
As per SASSA, the payment dates for May 2025 are:
- The Older Persons Grant (and any linked grants) will be paid on 3 May 2025.
- The Disability Grant (and linked grants) will be paid on 6 May 2025.
- All other grants will be paid on 7 May 2025 .
As usual, if the payment date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday Monday, the funds will be disbursed on the preceding Friday.
June 2025 SASSA Payment Dates
The schedule for SASSA grant payments in June 2025 is as follows:
- The Older Persons Grant (and linked grants) will be paid on 2 June 2025 .
- The Disability Grant (and linked grants) will be paid on 5 June 2025.
- All other grants will be paid on 6 June 2025.
