Bursary Coverage:

The bursary primarily covers tuition fees. Depending on the availability of funds and the student’s circumstances, additional allowances for accommodation or transport may be provided. It’s important to note that the release of these allowances is contingent upon maintaining a minimum class attendance of 80% for all registered subjects.Careers PortalTshwane South TVET College

Important Considerations:

  • Returning NSFAS Beneficiaries: Students who have previously received NSFAS funding and have progressed to the next level without a break in funding or studies do not need to reapply.Tshwane South TVET College
  • Academic Performance: Continued financial support is subject to satisfactory academic progress in line with TSC’s progression policy or the bursary guidelines, whichever is higher.Careers Portal
  • Course Funding: NSFAS funds specific courses, including engineering studies, business and utility studies, education and development courses, and marketing and management courses. Ensure that your chosen programme is eligible for funding
