A Legacy of Excellence
Originally part of the University of East Africa, UoN became a standalone institution when the regional university was split into three: Makerere University in Uganda, the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, and the University of Nairobi in Kenya. Since then, UoN has grown to become a leader in higher education in Africa.
